Gi Group launches dedicated Automotive division, servicing clients in an industry looking to grow by 7,000 employees in 2011

‚Automotive industry is, without a doubt, one of the main engines of Romania’s economic growth. It is a very fast-recovering sector and we believe that dedicated, customized HR solutions are a must. The automotive clients are caracterized by: 1. High need of staffing flexibility; 2. Reduced visibility on medium and long-term for production requirements, and 3. Seasonality and production-cycles spread over the year, so that it is fundamental that we respond quickly and efficiently to each request, with versatile, customized solutions’, said Leonard Rizoiu, National Key Account Gi Group Automotive.

 
 
The Romanian Automotive industry is estimated at over 9 billion euro for 2010, counting for more than 7% contribution to the GDP.
 
According to latest predictions, the automotive sector shall be one of the largest and most dynamic employers in 2011, looking to grow its consolidated headcount with more than 7,000 employees by year-end. The majority of this growth shall be represented by temporary staffing, giving high fluctuation in production cycles.
At the same time, expectations are that the automotive production shall increase by 74.5% by 2014.
